Roswell Foreclosure Filings See Decrease From 2017: Report
Foreclosure filings in Roswell for January 2018 decreased when compared to January 2017.

ROSWELL, GA — Foreclosure activity in Roswell for Jan. 2018 saw a 67 percent year-over-year decrease from January 2017 and no change from Dec. 2017, according to ATTOM data.
According to ATTOM, there were three foreclosure filings in Roswell in January 2018. Based on census bureau estimates, there are 38,048 housing units in Roswell so one in every 12,683 properties in Roswell has a foreclosure filing.
Foreclosure activity had an overall year-over-year decrease in the U.S. for Jan. 2018, and Georgia follows that national trend. The U.S. saw a 16 percent decrease in foreclosures while Georgia saw a 14 percent decrease.

According to ATTOM, Georgia is somewhere near the middle of the pack in foreclosures. In January 2018, there were 2,185 foreclosure filings in the state or one in every 1,902 properties had a foreclosure filing.
