This Savannah Neighborhood Saw Biggest Rent Increase in Past Year
New study from Rent.com looks at the five neighborhoods that saw the biggest increase in rent prices for a one-bedroom apartment

A new study from Rent.com looks at the Savannah neighborhoods where rent has jumped the most year over year. Midtown rental prices increased the most, with a 10.82% hike in one bedroom unit prices year over year. Paradise Park (8.87%), Southside (6.07%), West Chatham (5.81%) and Pine Gardens (5.71%) round out the list neighborhoods with the largest rent increases. The average price for a one-bedroom unit in Midtown is $1,534 according to the study.
For the study, Rent.com looked at all neighborhoods in Savannah with sufficient inventory on Rent.com and Apartment Guide and compared the average price from August 2018-August 2019 to find the neighborhoods with the highest percentage increase in one-bedroom apartment prices.
