Brighton Collectibles to Open in Snellville

Brighton Collectibles is opening Friday (Nov. 22) in Snellville at The Shoppes at Webb Gin. 

The women's accessories store, which has 190 locations nationwide and five other shops in metro Atlanta, separates itself from similar boutiques because its designers are all exclusive and in-house. 

"All of our designs come from a hand-drawn sketch," said Store Managing Partner Kelley Maulin. 

Brighton, which actually started as a wholesale men's western belt company in the 1960s and became a retail store in 2000, specializes in accessories from head to toe with fashionable shoes, handbags, belts, jewelry and more. Many different styles can be found in the store to appeal to a wide audience, from a preteen to her 90-year-old grandmother.

One of the most popular parts of Brighton is its Charm Bar design studio. Customers can design their own jewelry from silver-plated pieces and charms for a customized look.

"It's kind of like Build-A-Bear for adults," said Maulin. "It's 'Build-a-Bracelet.'"

Brighton Collectibles is located at 1350 Scenic Highway. in Snellville at the Shoppes at Webb Gin. The store will have a grand opening ribbon cutting Friday (Nov. 20) at 10 a.m.
