Community & Southern Bank to Receive Construction Award

Community & Southern Bank (CSB), which has a branch in Snellville, will be presented with the “Community Builder Appreciation Award” from the Georgia Hispanic Construction Association (GHCA) at a celebration dinner Friday (Nov. 22).

The dinner, which will be held at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, will recognize advocates in the construction industry and honor CSB – as well as other companies, non-profits and government entities – who enrich and support the Hispanic construction community. 

“Since our inception in 2010, CSB has been a committed partner of the general and construction-specific Hispanic community. This award is a direct testament of the relationships we have worked to cultivate over the years,” said CSB President Mark Abernathy in a news release. “We look forward to continuing to support the Hispanic construction industry and are honored to receive this distinguished award.”

The Nov. 22 event is expected to be well attended by key industry leaders, minority and non-minority contractors and government representatives from throughout the state.
