Diana DeGarmo Shares Engagement Pictures

American Idol contestant Diana DeGarmo, who was born in Birmingham, Ala., but raised primarily in Snellville, Ga., was pleasantly surprised last May when Ace Young, also a contestant, proposed during a live taping. 

She said yes.

DeGarmo is a Shiloh High graduate.

"We have been having a blast planning our wedding and working together," Young told People Magazine. 

The couple's engagement photos were taken in Los Angeles by Brian Leahy, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post. 

DeGarmo, 25, and Young, 32, host a show on the Hallmark Movie Channel called Planet 360, a weekly behind-the-scenes pop culture news show, according to People Magazine. 

They will get married in June.
