Grace Church's Lead Pastor Returns After Prolonged Illness

The Rev. Buddy Hoffman was hospitalized in April for an aortic aneurysm.

Grace Fellowship Church in Snellville recently welcomed back its lead pastor, the Rev. Buddy Hoffman, who had suffered an aortic aneurysm back in April.

Hoffman subsequently spent many weeks at the hospital. But, the prayers for his recovery were continuous.

And, on Sunday the church celebrated his return.

On Facebook, the church posted this message:

"This past Sunday (8-4-13) we celebrated with thankfulness to the Lord the return of our lead pastor, Buddy Hoffman, less than 4 months after undergoing surgery for an aortic embolism. God has blessed us all in the preservation of his life and the continuing restoration of his health!"

Additional photos from the event also are on Facebook.
