Gwinnett Chinese Restaurant Fails Health Inspection
Food was being stored without lids and unwashed produce was sitting over cooked and ready to eat food.

SNELLVILLE, GA — A Chinese restaurant in Snellville failed its health inspection on Tuesday.
Rice Box, at 4017 Annistown Rd., scored a 65/U on the inspection. On its two most recent inspections, in February and July, it had scored a 92 and a 90 — both A's.
During the inspection, officials found unwashed mushrooms, cucumbers and peppers being stored above ready-to-eat chicken wings and uncovered shrimp.

Multiple prepared food items were not date-marked, food was being scooped using bowls, not scoops with handles and access to a hand sink was blocked by large containers.
Inspectors will return to the restaurant within 10 days to do a follow-up inspection. If problems have not been addressed, they could revoke the restaurant's license until they do so.
