Travel back in time to ancient Bethlehem and experience life the night Christmas began! For many years, Snellville United Methodist Church has hosted Journey to Bethlehem, an interactive, indoor/outdoor production that draws thousands.
Step back in time with your traveling companions and follow your guide through the authentically recreated ancient town of Bethlehem. You’ll be counted in the census, as decreed by Caesar Augustus, encounter Roman soldiers, visit the marketplace bustling with vendors, a blacksmith, and an inn that’s full to capacity. As you continue along your journey, you’ll encounter shepherds with live animals, see the angel proclamation, meet the wise men and their LIVE camel, ending your journey to find Mary, Joseph and a baby in a manger.
Take the journey Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9 between 6pm and 8:30pm and allow the love of the Savior to fill your hearts this Christmas season!
