Lidl To Open Grocery Store In Gwinnett County

SNELLVILLE, GA – Good news Gwinnett-area shoppers! Lidl, which was recently ranked a top 3 U.S. supermarket by Food & Wine Magazine, announced recently that it would be expanding in the Peach State with three new stores.

Lidl’s new stores, which will be its first in the Atlanta area, are located in Powder Springs, Snellville and Mableton and will open over the course of four weeks, starting January 16.,>

A full schedule for the newly announced grand openings is below.

The ,>Powder Springs store will be located at 2641 Powder Springs Road SW and open January 16.

The Snellville store will be located at 3821 Stone Mountain Hwy and open January 30.

The Mableton store will be located at 4844 Floyd Road SW and open February 13.

Lidl US Grand Opening Events and Specials

At each of the new stores, customers will be able to take advantage of get-them-while-you-can grand opening special offers. On grand opening day, doors will open at 8 a.m., immediately following a special ribbon cutting ceremony, and the first 100 customers will be presented with a special gift card ranging from $5 to $100 each.

Shoppers can also sample an array of Lidl’s products and get a complimentary Lidl reusable bag while supplies last. The fun continues throughout grand opening weekend with games, activities, prizes, special deals, and giveaways.
