Serious Injury In Snellville House Fire: GCFES
One person was seriously injured in a house fire and taken to the hospital, according to authorities.

SNELLVILLE, GA — One person was injured in a house fire on Monday in Snellville, according to a release from Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services.
Soon after 5 p.m., firefighters got a call about a house fire and arrived at 5:10 p.m. to find smoke coming from the two-story house on Quinn Ridge Drive. They also found a victim of the fire in the front yard being assisted by police.
The victim was taken to Grady Hospital with serious injuries, the release says.

The fire was contained to an upstairs bedroom and quickly extinguished by fire crews. It caused "extensive damage" to the room and sent smoke throughout the second floor.
The fire was brought under control at 5:33 p.m., the release says, and had been put out at the time of a 5:53 p.m. email from the fire department to Patch.
