Snellville Chick-fil-A Giving Free Meal to Every 50th at Drive-Through

SNELLVILLE, GA -- OK, so let’s face it -- you’re probably not going to win the $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot tonight.

But, if the roughly 1-in-292 million odds for that grand prize are a little too long for you, how about a 1-in-50 chance at free chicken instead?

The Chik-fil-A at 1559 Scenic Hwy. North in Snellville is giving away any order up to $10 for free to every 50th vehicle that domes through its drive-through.

The store announced the promotion on its Facebook page Wednesday morning. At first, it appeared it was going to be a one-time-only giveaway for the day’s 50th motorized patron. But when a follower replied to the post asking if the free meal had already been given away, someone running the restaurant’s account said it had been expanded to every 50th vehicle.

A manager told the AJC the store had already given away 10 free meals at lunchtime Wednesday and that similar promotions are planned for next Wednesday and the following -- January 27.
