Snellville UMC to Celebrate Hanging of the Greens

Snellville United Methodist Church is hosting its annual Hanging of the Greens event Sunday (Nov. 24). 

All ages are welcome to the special service which celebrates Jesus' birth and explains the custom of decorating churches and homes with evergreen at Christmas. 

After the service, attendees will head to Wesley Hall for a Moravian Love Feast for sweet buns, hot apple cider and singing hymns in fellowship.

Snellville United Methodist Church is located at 2428 East Main St. The Hanging of the Greens will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 24) and is free to the public.
