303-Unit Apartment Complex Coming Near Six Flags Over GA
Monthly rent for the complex's one- to three-bedroom apartments is planned to range between $1,350 and $1,925.

SOUTH COBB, GA — More than 300 apartments are coming to south Cobb, just a few miles from Six Flags Over Georgia.
At Tuesday's meeting, the Cobb County Planning Commission approved a 303-unit complex to be built between Cityview Drive and Interstate 20 in Austell. The complex — backed by Virginia-based Bonaventure Investments — will offer one- to three-bedroom apartments with an estimated monthly rent range between $1,350 and $1,925.
Approval of the 27-acre project comes after the commission met with area residents last month to gather input, The Marietta Daily Journal reported. Bonaventure Vice President Jeremy Moss said neighbors wanted to see a commercial site, such as a coffee shop, so the complex serves a larger population.

Moss said they added 3,000 square feet of commercial space to the latest site plans, and the project was approved unanimously Tuesday.
According to What Now Atlanta, the project calls for 90 one-bedroom units, 170 two-bedroom units and 48 three-bedroom units, with average sizes of 808 square feet, 1,075 square feet and 1,376 square feet, respectively. The development will also add 534 parking spaces.
