16-Year-Old Killed In Crash, Friends Remember: Reports

She was waiting to pull out of a driveway when a pickup truck hit her head on, reports say.

SUWANEE, GA — A 16-year-old was killed Sunday while trying to pull out of a Suwanee apartment complex, according to reports. Samarah Masih was leaving the complex on McGinns Ferry Road when a pickup truck slammed into her.

11Alive reported as Masih was pulling out of the driveway, a red Dodge pickup had hit several cars and swerved into the private driveway of the apartment complex.

Masih was waiting to exit when she was hit head on. She was trapped inside the vehicle and later died, 11Alive reported.

The driver of the pickup, Sean Taylor, 47, was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. No charges have been filed.

The AJC reported a large group gathered Monday night at the apartment complex to remember Masih.

"Every class we had together she wouldn’t make me stop laughing," her friend Christian Mason said according to the AJC. "That was my partner right there. It’s just sad to see her go."
