Grease Buildup, Other Violations Noted as Suwanee Restaurant Gets 'C'

Suwanee Restaurant Inspections: See the latest health checks of local eateries.

Several Suwanee area restaurants received routine health inspections recently from the Gwinnett Health Department. Here are the results:

  • JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED: The restaurant at 45 Old Peachtree Road, Suite 600 received a "75/C" rating on Nov. 25. Among the violations noted: Grease/food buildup on the cookline equipment. Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues.  Repeat Violation. The full report is here.
  • MOE'S SOUTHWEST GRILL: The restaurant at 3320 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, Suite 20H received a "97/A" score on Nov. 25. The violation noted: In-use wiping cloth stored in <150ppm quat sanitizer. Sanitizer solution adjusted at the time of inspection. Ensure wiping cloths are stored in an approved concentration of sanitizer solution.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation. The full report is here.
