McCann Concludes Rehab Stint With Gwinnett

The veteran catcher joins Atlanta for Monday's game. G-Braves lose 2 Sunday.

The Gwinnett Braves lost two games Sunday, as well as Brian McCann. But they gained another player from Atlanta.

Veteran catcher McCann, who had begun a rehab stint with Gwinnett on Thursday, was to rejoin Atlanta in time for Monday's game at Cincinnati, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. McCann was 0-for-1 in Game 1 of Sunday's double-header at Coolray Field, and did not play in the second game.

Gwinnett (12-19) now has an eight-game losing streak after losses of 5-1 and 2-1 to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
