Police Release Name In Suspicious Suwanee Death

SUWANEE, GA — The woman found dead Monday, under what police call suspicious circumstances, has been identified.
The victim has been identified as Dorothy Ann D’Anna, 63, of Suwanee. Her family has been notified. Detectives are continuing to work the case as a suspicious death.

A person was found dead Monday, shortly before 1 p.m. at a home on Collins Port Drive. in Suwanee. After a preliminary investigation, Gwinnett Police officers believe the death is suspicious.

The scene was secured and a search warrant was obtained. Detectives and Crime Scene Unit personnel are were investigating the scene Monday afternoon. The victim's name is being withheld pending notification.
