Suwanee Day 2013 Parking, Shuttle Info

Traffic and parking will be a challenge, so check these offsite options.

Heading for Suwanee Day 2013 on Saturday (Sept. 21)? Better make parking or transportation plans now.

The city's annual mega-fest will begin at 9 a.m. with a parade, and parking at Town Center will disappear in a hurry. The event annually attracts about 50,000 visitors, according to the Suwanee Day website.

According to a city news release, there are various off-site parking and free shuttle options. They are:

  • Shadowbrook Baptist Church: 4187 Suwanee Dam Road;
  • Shawnee North Business Center: 305 Shawnee North Drive (at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road);
  • Southeastern Freight: 3655 Windsor Park Drive (near the intersection of Buford Highway and McGinnis Ferry Road. Enter from Buford Highway only).
Shuttle service will run from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. There will be limited service during the parade, from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
