TCC opening new store in Suwanee, donating thousands to local nonprofits

Leading Verizon Authorized Wireless Retailer awarding $1,000, $2,000 and $3,000 to three local nonprofits based on community votes.

SUWANEE, Ga. (March 20, 2017) – Round Room LLC, the nation’s largest Verizon Authorized Wireless Retailer, announces today the opening of its new TCC store in Suwanee, located at 3186 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.

In celebration of TCC’s grand opening, the company has selected five local nonprofits that are eligible to receive donations of $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000. Three organizations will receive the donations based on community votes.

The five selected nonprofits are:

  • Junior Achievers of Georgia
  • Georgia SPCA
  • Rainbow Village
  • Magdalene’s Gate Group Home, Inc.
  • Boys and Girls Club

To vote, members of the local community can visit www.TCCRocks.com, click on their local TCC Grand Opening page, and select the organization they want to receive a donation. Voting ends on April 2 at 11:59 p.m. (EST). On April 14 at noon, winners will be announced and presented their donations during the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Suwanee TCC store. All community members are invited to attend.

But, more importantly, we want to do good for our local neighbors.”

TCC continues to make ongoing investments through its “Making Communities Better” cultural movement. In 2016, those efforts included donating 135,000 backpacks full of school supplies to children, contributing $100,000 for materials used to improve the environment, and pledging $250,000 to Make-A-Wish, enabling the organization to grant 25 wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions across the country. So far this year, more than 500 TCC stores have donated school supply packs to 5,610 teachers across the U.S.
