Watch Video Of Matt Ryan Surprising Gwinnett Team At Practice

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – Shock and giant grins were all over the faces of Coach Bill Stewart and the North Gwinnett High School "Bulldogs" players Wednesday, as Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan surprised them at football practice.

"We're just trying to let them know that we appreciate all the coach does for his players and this community and it's just a fun chance to hang with some of these players," Ryan said.

"It means a lot. It's an honor for our program," Tyler Goodson said, a North Gwinnett Bulldog. "It shows how hard we work for the program. It shows how good our coaching staff is."

"We learn so much about teamwork and perseverance and all of these life-long lessons, you know, that are going to help you throughout the course of your life, from these times," Ryan said.

"You know we have a motto, not to play for yourself, play for each other and love the guy beside you," Goodson added. "So I really think that brings us together as a team to help us win games."
