Burial Service Held for Eddie Smith

A graveside service was held Sunday for Edgar H. Smith of Tucker, who died on Thursday, Dec. 27 after a long illness.

Known to all as Eddie, he was a 1966 graduate of Tucker High School and served in Vietnam. Smith was an avid Monopoly player and had just celebrated his 64th birthday three days before his death.

The Caldwell & Cowan website reports the family would like donations made to the Petra Foundation in lieu of flowers.
