Tucker’s Mayor and City Council got together for the last time in April on Monday night, holding a brief special called meeting and budget work session.

At the special called meeting they voted to approve expansion of the boundaries of the Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District (CID). The expansion will bring nine new parcels into the CID. Council then voted to appoint Carl Deckers as the City’s appointment to the Tucker Summit CID Board.

The work session focused on the draft budget for Fiscal Year 2022. The Council will hold public hearings on the roughly $16 million budget in May and June, with an expected vote at the Council meeting on June 14.

The next meeting of the Mayor and City Council is scheduled for Monday May 10 at 7 p.m. at City Hall (1975 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 350B).
