Clarkston Police Seek Man Who May Have Information About A Murder
A 40-year-old Alpharetta man was killed following a fight that broke out at Texaco gas and food mart

CLARKSTON, Ga. – The Clarkston Police Department is on the look-out for a man who may have been involved in fatal shooting in Clarkston on Friday.
Ernest Tyrell Bing, 40, of Alpharetta, died at Grady Memorial Hospital after being shot following a fight at Texaco gas and food mart at 3906 East Ponce De Leon Avenue, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The fight began with two patrons of the store, but escalated when Bing became involved. Another store patron, who was not involved in the fight, was also shot when he took a bullet in the arm. He, too, was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, but was treated and later released.

Law enforcement officials say this is an active homicide investigation with continuing interviews. Anyone with information or anyone who was in the store at the time of the confrontation is asked to contact the Clarkston Police Department and/or the GBI.
Footage released by the Clarkston Police Department and the GBI show still images from the incident. Authorities say the person depicted in the photograph was present during the altercation, has pertinent information and needs to be identified.
