Complete Spine Solutions Hosts Dekalb Police Force Appreciation Day

Tucker (November 15, 2016) – Members of the Dekalb County Police Department were welcomed by the Complete Spine Solutions team in its Tucker location for Police Appreciation Day on November 10, 2016. It was Complete Spine Solutions’ honor to offer complimentary health services to officers and detectives dealing with physical pain.

“People don’t realize how difficult it is to move around, drive, run and even sit with all our gear on,” says Detective Natasha Tyner. “We are forced to adjust our bodies to varying and sometimes painful positions to even sit in our cars.”

After seeing the amount of gear the Dekalb Police Force wears and has to carry, it is no surprise the suffering their bodies endure in service to the community. Members of the Police Force were assessed with digital posture screens, and administered both pain-relieving K-laser treatments and therapeutic massages.

“I’ve been wearing a heavy utility belt for over 20 years in service,” says Officer Robert Catalano. “My low and mid-back pain have been around for that long too!”

“The massage and K-laser offered immediate relief,” Officer Catalano says after his afternoon treatment. “I am really excited to learn the K-laser treatment would keep working to heal my muscles for a couple of days!”

The department was thankful to receive these complimentary services, and it was truly humbling for Complete Spine Solutions to give some pain relief to those who keep the Tucker community safe.
