The Cotton Patch Gospel

Y'all Come! A free, family-friendly, outdoor performance of the one-man bluegrass musical, The Cotton Patch Gospel, June 10 in Tucker

Enjoy a toe-tapping, hand-clapping good time on Friday, June 10, with a free, family-friendly performance of The Cotton Patch Gospel. The event starts at 6 PM in the outdoor courtyard of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 4882 Lavista Rd, Tucker, GA. The Cotton Patch Gospel is a fun retelling of the Gospel story, southern-style. Based on Clarence Jordan's Cotton Patch Gospel of Matthew and John, the two-act play was written by Tom Key and Russell Treyz and features music by Harry Chapin. The one-act musical will be performed by Dr. Tommy Tucker, an accomplished bluegrass musician and songwriter who has performed at festivals and events across the South for more than 25 years. The event will be outside, weather permitting, but the show will go on rain or shine. Bring your chairs, bring your blankets, bring your picnics, and bring your family, friends, and neighbors...y'all come! http://standrewspresbyterian.org/free-family-fun/
