DeKalb County Animal Services Pets of the Week: A Boy who does a Happy Dance and a Girl with a Heart of Gold
Looking for a dog? How about one that does a happy dance every time he sees you? Or a sweet girl who loves to snuggle?
By Karen Hirsch
LifeLine Animal Project, the nonprofit that manages DeKalb County Animal Services, invites you to meet our Pets of the Week: Fortune and Middy.
Fortune wants you to be your new best friend! He is a nice one-and-a-half year old boy who has a calm personality and a great love for humans! When Fortune first sees you, he does a happy dance, and when you are with him, his tail never stops wagging! He is smart, too, already knows how to sit and will take treats gently from your hand. Come meet this rare gem today!

Fortune is available for no charge until January 31 under our “Ring in the New Year With a New Pet Promotion,” and this includes his neuter, vaccines and microchip!
The winning smile in the picture belongs to Middy, a super sweet one-year-old girl with a heart of gold. Middy can’t wait to find her forever family, and she hopes it will be you! She is a gentle girl and a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you. Middy is a big lover who loves to cuddle with humans!

Middy gets along great with other dogs and probably wouldn’t mind having some dog friends in her new home. Come meet Middy today! If you adopt her by January 31, we’ll waive her adoption fee! She will also be vaccinated, spayed and microchipped for FREE!
To meet Fortune or Middy just drop by the shelter, emailadoption@dekalbanimalservices.com, or call (404) 294-2165. To view other great animals available for adoption, visit www.dekalbanimalservices.com. All potential adopters will be screened to ensure the animals are going to good homes.
