Man Dead, Woman Shot In Face In Tucker Murder-Suicide: Police (Updated)

A man is dead and a woman was shot in the face in what police are calling a murder-suicide at the Northgate Townhomes on Lawrenceville Highway, police told WAGA-TV.

Detectives on the scene said the shooting appears to be domestic-related, but they are continuing to investigate.

The shooting occurred about 4 a.m., police said, but the 911 call came about three hours later. Police surmise that the wounded woman probably lost consciousness and call police when she awakened.

The woman was rushed to the hospital, but is expected to survive, the TV station reports.
