Free Divorce Resource Line Launched
Georgians facing or contemplating separation, divorce or co-parenting issues now have a free help line.
ATLANTA, GA — March 12, 2015 — Visions Anew Institute (VAI), a Georgia non-profit assisting families in transition, launched a free Divorce Resource Line this week. Individuals facing or contemplating separation, divorce or co-parenting issues now have access to a free help-line (470-252-3308). While the public may call the line at any time, phone appointments may be scheduled online at www.georgiadivorceline.org.
For over 15 years, VAI’s mission to provide education, resources and support to individuals contemplating or facing divorce has included taking phone calls from individuals in the chaos of divorce. Now, this service has been formalized into a free and dedicated help line. Callers will be able to share what details of their situation they choose without going through an impersonal questionnaire process.

While the Divorce Resource Line does not provide therapeutic, financial or legal services, the its operators are trained to help callers understand common aspects of the divorce process, frame and articulate concerns and/or issues in order to gain control and understanding, provide specific articles, website, programs, and professionals that may otherwise be overlooked, and also provide information and resources that are in the caller’s vicinity in Georgia.
This free Divorce Resource Line is part of a broader menu of services provided by VAI. The organization also maintains an online divorce directory and blog on its website www.visionsanew.org. Seminars, retreats and free support groups also are provided and sponsored by VAI. Fathers and mothers are particularly encouraged to visit VAI’s website for helpful tips and co-parenting information. Calls are scheduled 30 minutes apart, and there is no limit to how often an individual may use this free service. Corporate sponsorship of this service is available on a monthly basis.

Board Member Jennifer Keaton, Esq. said, “There is no other non-profit in Georgia that does what we do to help people who are overwhelmed by the impact of a family transition like divorce.” The organization seeks to assist at least 100 individuals during the first month following the Resource Line’s launch (FREE Divorce Resource Line: 470-252-3308).
