Kelley Cofer Pollinator Garden Earns Park Pride Grant
Tucker's Kelley Cofer Park has been awarded a $2,499 grant from Park Pride for improvements to its pollinator garden.

TUCKER, Ga. (November 17, 2020) – Tucker’s Kelley Cofer Park has been awarded a $2,499 grant from Park Pride for improvements to its pollinator garden. The grant will help fund installation of slate pathways throughout the garden to replace the current mulch pathways, similar to the project completed at the Tucker Recreation Center pollinator garden.

“We are grateful to Park Pride for their continued support of Tucker’s parks,” said Tucker Parks Operations Manager Jason Collins. “These improvements will increase use and improve walkability in this very beautiful amenity of Kelley Cofer Park.”
The total expense of the project is $6,225. The additional funding will be split between the Friends of Kelley Cofer Park and the City of Tucker. The pollinator garden was established five years ago and funded by a Park Pride Small Change Grant.
