Lead Teacher, part-time, for After-School Refugee's Program
Combine tutoring/teaching with 'mission that matters'
Inspire: A Shalom Afterschool Initiative, located in Clarkston, GA and serving refugee and immigrant middle school students, is seeking a Lead Teacher for its afterschool program. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 15 hours per week during the school year.
“This position is a great combination of mission that matters right now and teaching that will pay long-term dividends,” said Rev. Catherine Foster of Shallowford Presby. Church and a volunteer.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working with people of all cultures, ethnicities, and religious backgrounds and with youth in an educational setting. Secondary credit in education or related field required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
