Make DeKalb County Animal Services Pets Thankful, and LifeLine Animal Project will Waive the Adoption Fee During November!

Give the animals a reason to be thankful, and LifeLIne Animal Project will thank you. Also, meet our Pet of the Week!

LifeLine Animal Project works hard to find homes for the hundred plus animals who come into DeKalb County Animal Services every week, and the shelter is now seeing more animals adopted than ever before!

However with up to 30 animals coming in each day, we still need your help. And since this is the month of giving thanks, we’re asking you to take part in our “Make Our Animals Thankful This Thanksgiving” promotion by adopting a pet. In return, we’ll thank you by waiving our adoption fee, and throwing in a free spay/neuter, free vaccines and a free microchip (a $200 value)! We have so many great pets just waiting for you, so please come visit the shelter!

DeKalb County Animal Services Pet of the Week: Ellie

Have you ever seen a dog smile before? Dogs who smile are contagious and make everyone around them smile. Such is the case with our Pet of the Week Ellie, the dog who is always smiling! Ellie is a three-year-old Shepherd/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and has a cute furry ridge going down her back. She is a smart girl who already knows how to sit and will sit without being asked when she hears a treat bag rustling. Come in and Meet Ellie, and if you adopt her in November, we’ll thank you by waiving the adoption fee! We’ll screen potential adopters as always to ensure she goes to a good home. To meet her, please drop by the shelter, email adoption@dekalbanimalservices.com or call (404) 294-2165. To view other great animals available for adoption, visit www.dekalbanimalservices.com.
