A memorial service for Jean Eckman was held Sunday at her home in Tucker.
Eckman, the former owner of what is now Hallmark Cards & Gifts on Hugh Howell Road, died last Thursday at the age of 79. She acquired the store in 1986 and named it Jean's Hallmark Shop.
She is survived by her children, Steve Eckman, Carl Eckman, Glen Eckman, Jim Eckman and seven grand-children.
Burial took place at Floral Hills Memory Gardens on Sunday.
