Pets who fled the loud fireworks during Fourth of July celebrations, combined with unfixed pets having babies in warmer months, have resulted in a flood of animals coming into our DeKalb shelter. With an average of 30 pets arriving daily at DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS), we are bursting at the seams. You can help by coming into the shelter and adopting a new family member. You’ll save a life and you’ll save money!

You may adopt any dog over 25 lbs. or any cat or kitten for only $17.76 through the end of July. This includes their spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines and more! So come visit DCAS today!
