Police ID Tucker Man As Victim in Norcross-Area Apartment Homicide

Marlon Hernandez, 30, of Tucker, was found with multiple gunshot wounds early Sunday morning.

Gwinnett County police have identified the victim in a shooting death reported early Sunday morning at a Norcross-area apartment complex.

Marlon Hernandez, 30, of Tucker was shot multiple times around 2 a.m. Sunday at the Sienna Heights Apartments on Graves Road in unincorporated Norcross, police said in a Monday morning email. Hernandez was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center, where he died.

Detectives are urging anyone with information on the homicide to come forward.

“Detectives are working to determine a motive and develop suspects for this homicide,” Gwinnett Police Public Information Officer Cpl. Deon Washington said in the email. “A canvass will be conducted at the apartment complex to determine if someone may have seen or heard something that could be relevant to the investigation.”
