Teen Choir to Present Free Concert

Shallowford Presbyterian Church’s 80-member teen choir will present a free concert titled “We Walk in the Light” on Sunday, June 19, at 4:00 p.m. in the church at 2375 Shallowford Rd., just east of I-85. The homecoming concert will celebrate the choir’s return from a 10-day tour of Scotland where they sang in many churches throughout the country.

“By presenting the free concert to the community, we are thanking our supporters who helped us raise money to fund the trip,” said Choir Director Emily Floyd. “We couldn’t have done it without generous donations.”

The concert includes an original script written by members of the choir and features student soloists and instrumentalists playing flute and drums. A love offering will be collected to support Shallowford’s music ministries.
