Teens Indicted in Stone Mountain Gas Station Murder

The three will be tried as adults in the shooting death of Shaneku McCurty last month.

Three teenagers accused of killing a 25-yer-old woman at a Stone Mountain gas station last month were indicted on Tuesday of murder.

The AJC has released the names of the teens: Demonte and Jermaine Grant and Cameron Williams. Demonte Grant is 15, while Jermaine Grant and Cameron Williams are 16.

The teens have been charged as adults in the shooting death of Shaneku McCurty on Oct. 23 outside the Chevron Food Mart at Redan Road and S. Indian Creek Drive.

The two brothers turned themselves on the weekend following the shooting. Grant was arrested shortly after a search involving the DeKalb Sheriff’s fugitive unit, a U.S. Marshals task force and Atlanta police.
