Tucker Civic Association Announces January Event
Volunteers will be sprucing up the Tucker Nature Preserve.
The Tucker Civic Association will be celebrating MLK Day with a "Day of Service" event at Tucker Nature Preserve on Jan. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers will be removing invasive plants, raking leaves, mulching and sprucing up the trails. If you can, please bring rakes, loppers, and shovels. Snacks, coffee and water will be provided.
If you haven't been to the Preserve lately, this is a great time to come check out all of the recent improvements, including the new group picnic area and a new trail extension courtesy of Boy Scout Troop 129.
