Upcoming Dunwoody Road Race and Festival Promises Family Fun

RunDunwoody 2014 includes a 5K race and a 1-Mile Fun Run, as well as food, prizes, and a Kid's Zone.

Runners, take to the starting line; the annual RunDunwoody 5K race and 1 Mile Fun Run is fast approaching, and attendees will get the opportunity to support the Dunwoody community while also getting in some physical activity.

Scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 19, from 7 to 10 a.m., the 2014 RunDunwoody 5K Road Race, 1 Mile Fun Run, Tot Trot and Family Festival features a qualifying 5K course for the Peachtree Road Race.

Runners will begin and end the 5K in the Perimeter Mall parking lot near Dillard’s. Non-runners can participate in the event, too, by serving as Race Day volunteers or simply enjoying the festival.
