What to Do with Your Christmas Tree
DeKalb County will pick up your live tree at no cost if you follow a few simple rules. Pickup starts Dec. 26.
DeKalb County residents can safely dispose of their live Christmas trees through the curbside pickup program offered by the sanitation department.
The county will pick up Christmas trees, at no cost to residents, Dec. 26 through Jan. 16. All trees will be turned into mulch.

- Remove all lights and decorations from the tree
- Place the tree at the curb on your street’s recycling day
- Cut trees taller than 7 feet into smaller sections
- Take larger trees to the Seminole Landfill
