Atlanta Wine School Presents: Vive La France! The Food and Wine of France

Learn the history of France’s wine culture and the all important concept of “terroir”. Have fun with the basics of the French language and enjoy savory culinary treats from select wine regions. French music and a well-traveled wine instructor and chef in his own right will greet you at the door and an interesting presentation will set the stage for 8 delicious wines.

Let AWS transport you to the world’s number one fine-wine region for an evening of “la joie de la vie”!

Class will include:

• A primer on French pronunciation, ie how do you say “Beaumes-de-Venise”
• An overview on the regions of France, with emphasis on the top wine regions
• History of French production through current day
• Visual presentation and pictures of regions
• Eight (8) wines for tasting
• Additional Cuisine selections to tie into regions
• All AWS courses with wine ALWAYS include light nibbles such as cheeses, salumi, olives, nuts, and a selection of crackers and fresh breads (some are Gluten-Free options).
