Dooleys Grand Marshalls For 5K At Emory

Former University of Georgia football coach Vince Dooley and his wife, Barbara, will be official starters and grand marshalls this year for the Winship Win the Fight 5K, according to the Emory University website.

Registration has opened for the Oct. 5 event, which starts and ends on the Emory University campus at the McDonough Field complex.

Runners and walkers will follow a 3.1-mile route through the historic neighborhoods of Druid Hills.

The event raises money for the fight against cancer.

Registration is $30 for walkers and $35 for runners.
