Dunwoody Jewish Center Presents Family Musical

The Marcus Jewish Community Center will host a musical version of "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" Dec. 4-14.

Dunwoody’s Marcus Jewish Community Center invites audiences to enjoy six performances of a musical rendition of the best-selling children’s book, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

The namesake character wakes up with gum in his hair, trips on a skateboard, and then accidentally drops his sweater in the sink – all before breakfast. It’s the beginning of his very bad day.

Performed in a single act, families can laugh with lyrics written by Alexander’s original author, Judith Viorst, and sing along to music composed by Shelly Markham.
