Former Falcons Great Jessie Tuggle to Greet Fans, Demonstrate New X1 Sports App to Celebrate Start of Football Season

Former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Jessie Tuggle will meet with Falcons fans and join Comcast executives to demonstrate the new X1 Sports App’s full range of features during an exclusive meet-and-greet on Monday, Sept. 14.

Tuggle, a member of the Atlanta Falcons’ Ring of Honor, will host the event from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the new XFINITY store at 699 Ponce De Leon Ave. in Midtown/Poncey-Highland. The event provides an opportunity for guests to tour the store, which officially opens on Thursday, Sept. 17.

The X1 Sports App allows X1 customers to easily track several games simultaneously and save information about their favorite teams. Fans can access sports scores and information in real time to keep up with games they aren’t actively watching.

Comcast recently unveiled the new X1 Sports App in time for the college and professional football seasons. The app provides greater detail on injury reports, fantasy stats, win/loss probabilities and pre-game player and team comparisons.
