Have We Forgotten What the Fourth of July is All About?
For some, it's an excuse to party and watch fireworks. For others, it's a solemn occasion. Do we know what Independence Day really means anymore?
Fireworks. Cook outs. Fireworks. A day off from work. Fireworks. Get-togethers at a friend's house.
And did we mention fireworks?
For many, these events have come to symbolize what the 4th of July is all about.
But Patch wants to know, do you believe we truly understand what this day in American history really means? Have we forgotten the principles on which the nation was founded, or do we respect and honor them today as much as other generations have?
