Man Charged in Yogurt Shop Burglary

Atlanta Police arrested a man they believe is responsible for breaking into Yoforia on Monroe Drive in March

Atlanta Police arrested and charged a man on Sunday, May 6, they believe is responsible for back-to-back burglaries of Yoforia on Monroe Drive.

Andre E. Andrews is charged with breaking into the yogurt shop at 985 Monroe Dr. on March 1 and March 9.

Police believe Andrews kicked in the back door of Yoforia and took money from the cash register.

The March 1 burglary was around 11 p.m. The March 9 incident was around 7:00 a.m.

He is also suspected of committing other crimes in the Midtown area, according to police.

Andrews is being held on $24,000 bond at Fulton County Jail.
