Why does LifeLine hold fee-waived adoption promotions? Simply put, to save more lives. We have found that these promotions are the most effective at getting people to come visit our shelters and adopt. And numerous studies have shown that animals adopted via free promotions are treated just as well as those adopted at the normal fee.
Below are two of the many adorable animals you can adopt from the shelter.

DeKalb County Animal Services Pets of the Week: Brandon and Seneca
Brandon will melt your heart! If his ears, which stand straight up and then flop over forward, and face don’t get you, then his adorable personality will. This three-year-old boy wants nothing more than to love humans and play. In fact, when he first meets you he will wiggle around with excitement and ask you to play by bowing. Brandon is also a quick learner and already knows how to sit on command. He gets along great with other dogs too. Please come in and meet Brandon and adopt him for FREE under our “Ring in the New Year with a New Pet” promotion.
Seneca is also adorable and very sweet! She is about three-years-old and really loves being around people. If you’re looking for a dog who is calm, then Seneca is your girl. She is mellow and loves to be pet. She will even ask you to pet her by pushing your hand with her nose. Please come meet her and adopt her for FREE under our “Ring in the New Year with a New Pet” promotion!
