Millions of Dollars to be Had in Georgia Lottery

Didn't win the lottery this week? No worries, Friday's Mega Millions jackpot is estimated to be $15 million. While that may seem like a modest amount of money, when compared to Tuesday's jackpot that reached an incredible $648 million, it's still a lot of money.

The jackpot on the Powerball game increases to an estimated $60 million since there were no winners on Wednesday. The drawing will be Saturday night.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.9 billion to the state of Georgia for education, according to a statement on its website.
