Moon Ride Cyclists To Roll Through VaHi Friday
The inaugural Atlanta Moon Ride starts at the Park Tavern at 10 p.m.

Motorists should expect delays Friday night when a big group of bicyclists rolls through Virginia Highland.
The Atlanta Moon Ride is a 6.5-mile ride that starts at 10 p.m. Friday at the Park Tavern at Piedmont Park.
According to the Virginia Highland Civic Association, the riders "will proceed east on Virginia Avenue, then turn right on N. Highland Avenue. The group will exit VaHi as they continue on N. Highland past Ponce De Leon Avenue."

Atlanta police will providea rolling road block for the cyclists so motor traffic may be disrupted.
The Moon Ride is a charity event to raise money for Bert’s Big Adventure, a nonprofit that provides free trips to Walt Disney World for kids with terminal diseases.
