Police Searching for Suspect in Hit and Run

Atlanta police are searching for a suspect involved in an overnight hit-and-run that left one woman dead.

CBS46 is reporting the incident happened around 1:30 am on Arizona Avenue, which is near the Kirkwood, Edgewood and Lake Clair communities, just south of Druid Hills

Atlanta police say surveillance footage shows a black crossover SUV hitting the woman or her vehicle. A local restaurant worker found the woman lying in the street.

Police have not released the name of the victim.
