Suspicious Package on North Highland Found Harmless

Atlanta SWAT teams responded to another suspicious package call over the weekend, this one Sunday morning in the 1300 North Highland Avenue block.

The package was found to be harmless, according to the AJC.

The package was reported near a trash bin and police found that it contained various miscellaneous items that contained no threat.

On Saturday morning, I-85 southbound was shut down for more than two hours on Saturday morning as police investigated a suspicious package near the Lenox Road/Cheshire Bridge road exit.

That package was also found to be harmless.
